This page says what happens to the information you send us through this website, who handles it and how to ask us to delete it.

Who is responsible for your information
SEE Electrical Ltd is the data controller. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16969776, at High St, Worcester WR1 2FN.
The website itself, and the handling of anything sent through the enquiry form, are operated on our behalf by Auto Ascension (https://autoascension.com), who act as our processor. They act on our instructions and do not use what you send for anything of their own.
What the enquiry form collects
The form on this site asks for the following, and nothing else:
- your name
- your phone number
- your postcode, if you give it
- the message you type
- a hidden field that is not shown to you, used to catch automated spam, and discarded
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We use it to answer your enquiry, to quote for the work and, if you go ahead, to carry it out. That is the only thing it is used for. We do not sell it, we do not share it for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
The lawful basis is that you have contacted us to ask about work, so handling what you sent is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and where no contract follows, our legitimate interest in answering the enquiry you sent.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not become a job, we delete it within 12 months.
If we carry out work for you, we keep the record of that work for 6 years, because certificates, test results and invoices have to be available for that long for tax purposes and in case a question arises about the work later.
Cookies and other websites
This website sets no cookies of its own and carries no advertising trackers, no analytics tag and no social media pixels.
The pages that show a map embed Google Maps. That map is served by Google, not by us, and Google may set cookies or store data in your browser when it loads. That is Google's processing under their own terms, and it is the only third party this site contacts.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it. You can also ask for it in a portable form.
To do any of those, ring 07851 872110 or write to us at SEE Electrical Ltd, High St, Worcester WR1 2FN. We will deal with it within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, which is the UK's data protection regulator.
